Granite Lines in the High Pyrenees

Tenaya Outclimb spent a weekend in the High Pyrenees climbing bullet-hard granite in the heart of Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. Based out of Refugi Ventosa i Calvell, the days were filled with long approaches, technical slabs, clean crack systems, and the kind of climbing that rewards patience and partnership.

Between the granite, the alpine landscape, and time shared at the refuge, the High Pyrenees offered an experience that extended well beyond the climbing itself.
